I was really glad you posted this information here, Annie, because last night while writing my critique, I did the same thing. I wanted to know more about Osage because frankly I wanted to know "Why Osage?" In her acknowledgements, she thanks Wayne Wiegand for suggesting Osage to her. Perhaps I'm being insensitive but I really cannot understand why (except for the fact that Osage OBVIOUSLY has incredibly impressive primary source resources.)
